I am a product of Catholic schools from grammar school through college. I graduated from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN, magna cum laude in 1990. I attended University of Buffalo School of Law where I graduated magna cum laude in 1993 and was on Law Review. I started my legal career in 1993 with Jaeckle Flesichmann & Mugel in the litigation department working on all aspects of litigation from commercial disputes to personal injury, from anti-trust matters to medical malpractice. I was named a partner in 2002. In 2004, I went on to a specialized medical malpractice firm, Brown & Tarantino, where I joined the practice as a partner. I represented physicians in medical malpractice actions for a year before I decided to concentrate my practice on plaintiff’s work as a partner with Cantor Lukasik Dolce & Panepinto.

I have had the privilege of representing businesses and individuals over the years. I am committed to delivering the very best results as well as personal, professional service to each and every one of my clients. I pride myself not only on my results over the years, but in also never forgetting that litigation involves individuals deserving of my compassion and best efforts. It is important to me that my clients (who have already been victims of accidents or malpractice) are not further victimized by their experience with the legal system. Many of my clients are referrals from satisfied past clients.

I feel strongly about giving back to this community and have been actively involved with a number of organizations over the years, including the Theatre of Youth, Co., The Buffalo Zoo, Irish Classical Theatre Company, Inc., Buffalo Alliance for Education, The Bennett High School Law Magnet Program, Leadership Buffalo and professional organizations including the Women Lawyers of Western New York and the Women’s Bar Association.

I have been the recipient of Business First’s Forty under 40 and twice named among that publication’s Who’s Who in the Law. I live with my husband and three children in Buffalo, New York. When not practicing law, I enjoy volunteering at my children’s schools, attending their sporting events, camping, and traveling.
